Vk-YOU are the one that don't have a friggin clue. Did anyone say anything about flocking to an American line stud?

Of course when you out cross, you have to know what you are coming back to. You don't just mix and match.

But, i guess ,what do I know, I have only had a few of my dogs turn into actual police dogs, while you on the other hand, want to wzlk around, down under somewhere, having people jump out at your dog in all sorts of bizarre places, for, what reason?

Oh, thats right, for nothing...whatever you say...

is there a need for such dramatics when someone disagrees with you, we are all here to learn.

yep if you are walking around some place down under don't jump out at my dogs, good advice right there. and wear a pressurized helmet, we all walk upside down here.

Another ASL x GSL - I didn't get the breed quality dog I was hoping for, but she's got a lovely temperament, and I can confidently take her anywhere. She's great with other dogs, kids and small animals, and is trained as my hearing ear alert dog. If someone tries to come in the house, she has a very loud, convincing bark, but settles quickly when I allow them to enter.

My cross line dog is the best dog I have ever owned. The most stable, the strongest temperament. He worked for a living.

I recognize his shortcomings just like my other dogs, but to me he is the epitome of a GSD. I'll never own another working line.

Crosses, when done thoughtfully, can work out beautifully. I've looked into several options for my bitch (all GSLs). I would cross into the right working line dog if one were available.

That said, I only posted these two to show their differences. If they had been bred, I would have said so.

I'm still waiting for her to come into season. The litter threw her cycle off, so now I have no clue what she's gonna do. Although if it put her on a six month schedule instead of a four, I'm not gonna complain :p

I'm pretty pleased she bounced back so well after a litter of 9.

Hutchins, IMO almost every post vk writes here is in violation of some term of service. Yesterday admin deleted one of his posts in its entirety.  IMO she or he's a troll. ignore, ignore, ignore.

You may not

  1. carry out personal attacks, be rude, disrespectful, insulting, threatening or abusive publicly to any member of PDB.
  2. troll, flame, cyberstalk, bait or harass any member of PDB

It's a free country. Any breed/trainer/adult who doesn't like to see intermingling of the various lines can choose to not do it. Also they do not need to look at or read any messages from breeders who do and they are not forced to look at the photos.   To be purist, there is no such thing as outcrossing in this breed anyway. Every pure bred GSD alive today goes back to the same handful of  foundation dogs. Suck it up, breed what you want and stop trying to dictate to others what they should breed. And dont give me it's for the good of the breed either. That statement had lost it's definiton here long ago. Devaluating another dogs is bullying and narcissistic behavior, that's plain and simple. It's none of anyone else's  business who breeds which dogs to which dogs..

Welcome back, newbie, I've missed your disliking every message I've posted here as you have done in the past.. Thanks, knowing you read and care about my messages gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

blitz, you are in violation of the terms of service;

you are making personal attacks on me for camly disagreeing things about the breed.

this is not the first time, so throw in stalking, baiting, harrassment and flaming (flaming is so 90's)

 blitzen You may not

  1. carry out personal attacks, be rude, disrespectful, insulting, threatening or abusive publicly to any member of PDB.
  2. troll, flame, cyberstalk, bait or harass any member of PDB

please stop this or i will inform the mods.

now why don't you do the honourable thing and challenge whatever comment i made that you disagree with on this thread and and discuss it in a balanced adult way, it's a short thread that i have only made a few posts in so minus the drama posts people other than me made you should not have trouble finding them.

so enough with your personal attacks, framing, baiting, stalking and show me the offensive post/s, if it truly offensive and against the TOS i will apologise and leave.

you don't get to control thought and filter information here to suit you, ya know.

So instead of trying to bait me,  report me and let admin decide if I violated any TOS.

Please, please, stop. Can't anyone just give an opinion, not that any opinions were asked for, in a proper manner without the thread going the same way as most do.....down the pan. This will not turn into another back and forth bitch fest....END OF. Now move on and stick to the topic, those that can't take it to PM's.
