I love how substantial Strauss looks.  And I just want to snuggle that old man cute face. Makes me miss my old lady.

Strauss has never been a dog that was super outwardly affectionate, but sometimes he does come to me for a hug or some such. He's the perfect dog for that.

He does have a sweet old man face, but it'll still go good and ugly if it's necessary.

Whiteshep, I do have pics of him as a younger dog. If you look up S Konzert vom Drachenberg here, his pedigree picture is him in his prime at age 5

Lol at some of the crazier more stupid comments.

The topic off the post is the beautiful differences.well to some of us those differences are not beautiful and our opinions are no less valued because they are based on reason and standard than those opinions that are based on emotion.

Isn't the topic of this thread the differences?

Just not those differences. The differences in her dogs 2 dogs that happen to both be pretty much show lines. Your differences happen to be your own personal crusade. 2 totally different topics. The great divide.

Why not just keep your thoughts to yourself unless asked for an opinion ( which BTW was not asked for in this thread).

Aging gracefully!! What a noble fella he is.

Pretty pathetic for somebody to dislike pictures of Moo. I can see how people could dislike Wes, but Moo?

Pretty laughable. Especially considering he worked for a living. The only thing there is to dislike is that he's mostly show lines, and that is pathetic.

Thank you for the compliment, Hutchins :). I'm pleased with how he's looking and acting for his age. He has some lenticular sclerosis and his hearing is starting to go, but overall he's great

Had somebody mistake him for a four year old a couple days ago.

Xeph,

He aged very well... I like him, he is nice looking dog.

I am not into the American showlines... but it has been intersting to see Wes mature and also see her pups. I can see some of her and the sire in each pup.. What matters most is your dogs are well cared for, loved healthy, and are part of the family, The rest is just icing on the cake.

Sorry to see your post get de-railed like it did. Not everyone is going to like everyone elses dogs. But there are POLITE ways of commenting about it.
