Mithuna save me long distance call, post a link to a peer reviewed scientific paper/s of this magic and I will believe you.

Million US  dollars was up for grabs on this pseudoscience issue. The money has since been put to better use due to all the fails over decades.

You voodoo people are just attention seeking time wasters of no benefit to humanity;

@ centurion, holy crap. This is tinfoil hat territory.

"Currently humans have the capability of influencing such things as a coin toss with the use of their mind. "

No they don't.

"Years ago the CIA had done many psychological experiments including astral projection.."

astral projection, WTF.

"perhaps animals have the ability to perceive things inter- dimensionally as some have recently proposed. "

who proposed this, were they high? what other dimensions do you speak of, are you a theoretical phycsists working on string theory, is your dog??

"Take a good hard look at the way we understand dogs because I don't think this so simple as we once thought."

Please don't speak for everyone else with the royal "we".

A big Howdy! From S Texas to you all. This issue is as most now days, controversial. I will speak out of my own experience only. Male mid 50's married to kids in their twenties away in college. Had dogs most of my life, different breeds but for the last decade dedicated to Dogo Argentino for the most part. Tango my male is about 130lbs and Perlita the female around 100, outstanding specimens both. They can be as " cute" as the smaller breeds and will give you back 110% of what you give them. I breed Dogos, and when the time comes to sale the puppies I choose very carefully who to sell them to. This breed will do it all, pet, guardian, hunter, personal or home/ business protection, it all depends how you train them.

Now this guys need to know their place in the " family" and always know that they can NOT be on equal terms with the humans around. The reasons are simple, they have a strong character ( if they did not they would never confront a wild boar or mountain lion like they do) so discipline and socialization is a MOST as soon as they are born, not only with humans but also other pets. They also need to know their boundaries, they are big, heavy and have very big teeth! It is common sense people, correction must start at a very early age, an uneducated Dogo can "tare a house down" very quickly, and cause major injury to both human and other animals. If they are educated properly at an early stage they can be the best pet a human can have, if not they can cause a major headache. Do I play with them? YES Do I love them? YES. Do I buy them toys? OF COURSE! But they know that when I say STOP they obey, they know not to jump on people, also that children are smaller and NOT play rough with them. Friends, a Dogo or a Chihuahua, an educated dog will be an excellent companion to any human, an uneducated one will bring only problems.

Regards
