Here is what I see

2nd dog
1. more front reach
2. more shoulder open ( open up of humerus/scapula joint
3. More elbow open ( open up of humerus/front arm joint
4. Maybe a little longer humerus but still a little shorter than scapula, not very sure of this last item no. 4

So let us guess the joint points and measure angles and compare, will take a little while

Christine,

Will you please allow me to disagree (supposing I understood what you said correctly).
Rupesh, do not pay attention to this reply, so you do not get confused.

Christine,

Not all joints open up in exact magnitude (angle)
Proof: some dogs have better front and under reach than others.
Positioning of bones play a great deal in opening of joints, and I am not saying the more opening the better, maybe the correct is more opening the better till a certain limit.

I had a theory why GSL VAs do not open up as good as ASLs but Susie blew it up and spoiled it ( I think she was correct and my theory was stupid).

I have another theory maybe I test it in front of you in this thread and take your opinion and others as well
I doubt some basic parts of the theory we have on hand till this date about desired trot and desired angles is totally wrong

> I wish I could study the joint itself, how it is set and what the opening capacity is. I know my joints have a certain limit of opening after which they would not open unless you split the bones out <

I started to say this exact thing.

I am not saying that all joints have the same limits, but each joint has its own limit. And all shoulder joints that are functional are going to have certain things in common that are going to set the limits for that joint type/mechanism.

Does anyone have a picture of Trommel’s Jasmine picture in stance?
Can anyone post his pedigree?

Does anyone know who is the dog in second picture in my previous post? Pedigree? pictures in stance?

I bet that the 2nd dog has a very upright scapula and long upper arm that is also probably somewhat steep. Do you have stacked pictures of the same dogs?

Yes got you, that I agree

Didn't find any stack picture for Trommel. Are these two the same dog?
