I vote bee & hubba King and Queen of the new monolithic monotheistic uber-bureaucracy of all breed stem-cell detection dog training, certification and service dog placement of the world.

Let me know when you start accepting yr first intake.

I don't see AKC as the working model to start up, at all. Start with an existing K9 non profit and develop a well defined mission to create a pilot program. Work out the bumps with program financials and fundraising. Then apply for separate non profit status. I see two or three viable programs, one for dog certification and a second one for trainer certification. A third, civilian training program might be a tie-in, sort of like a preparedness civilian corps that FEMA offers, but for this purpose.

Once those programs are in place and successful, others using specialized breeding lines would not be out of the question.

Qualified breed specific rescues with trusted screening of dog candidates would be welcomed.

If the pilot programs take off, growing into a larger entity with government and federal funding would not be impossible.

This has been a very intestine thread to read. Vapor wake is a patented training though Auburn University, hence the price. The trainers and scientist at Auburn have created a unique program, but at the end of the day, they're aren't nearly enough explosive detection dogs to meet the cause at hand.

Intestine, lol.

@Mbucksath

I am sure it was your auto-correct and you meant "interesting", not intestine. Vk4 would probably just like to enjoy a good sausage, is all. He is very meat and potatoes.
