I'm thinking about purchasing a puppy from Sucherquelle German Shepherds. Has anybody done business with them. She says she only breeds pure DDR. Their dogs look beautiful and Jill seems very nice.

DDR dogs haven't existed for decades. That's just marketing.

Dogs are beautiful and she is nice to talk to.
However no titles, just a few with basic HRD or SAR training. Not enough IMO to prove enough workability.
Pricing is high IMO in consideration of what I mentioned above.
I would recommend them to someone wanting a pet, maybe a working prospect upon further evaluation of the parents.
What are you looking for?

Temperament first, Good all around pet for my family.

Then you should be fine with that kennel.
Good luck!

thanks...

I would go proven health first.

There is usually a range of temperaments in any given litter to choose from.

Their guarantee for hips, only offered on a full registration has stringent feeding restrictions and that would be a concern for me, because meeting those to the breeder's satisfaction becomes nigh impossible should you have a need to invoke said guarantee. It wouldn't have to be a deal breaker, just don't expect it to be delivered upon or without jumping through some exasperating hoops.

Pricing is typical for my area.

Dogs do look nice and cared for properly.

Bee does have an excellent point.
I do not like different guarantees with different pricing. I think a breeder should stand behind everything they sell, not only if you pay $xxx more.
Supplement feeding requirements, not something I would be interested in having to do.

Yes, absolutely. I was thinking the same thing. I don't understand why a breeder would have two different guarantees ?? Yes the pricing looks average.

I was also looking at justk9s.
