Well, we are now getting the official blizzard warning! Going to have to top off the gas tank and check the battery supplies. Best to enjoy this peaceful sunrise, in the moment.

Get your plow ready! And some sleep, ML... you are going to be busy!

Hi Bee,

Congrats on your son making the State finals. Hope you get there ok.

Just gassed up the plow truck, going to the Bank and PO next.

Closed tomorrow

Yikes! School is cancelled, the swim meet is moved to Thurs. The boys are stacking firewood! Just in case....the weather folk have got me pegged in the 18 inch zone with 60 mph winds....let's hope I don't lose power! There has been a lot of tree cutting and trimming, I hope it is enough.

I vacuumed and cleaned all day just in case! Making chicken enchilada's, too.

Good thing the swim meet was moved up.

We're supposed to get 18" to 24" (or more) with 50 MPH winds.

They said we might get 4 inches an hour.

Going to be nasty, that's for sure.

I hope you don't lose power Bee...

Hey Bee,

Are you going to cheat and have it change over to rain? We're getting all snow, already got about 4" and its not going to come down heavy until around 10 AM. No heavy winds YET.

The good thing here is almost everything is closed, hardly anyone out driving.

Stay warm..

ML I am hearing sleet mixing in with the snow. Gusty winds, now, too. The snow totals will be less, and it is hard to measure with everything blowing around. Pretty nasty all in all. We have a travel ban on the highways, too.

So, I made the cinnamon rolls and am ironing shirts, lol.

ML.  According to my snow shoveling clean up crew, they concur with the general tallies of 16 inches of snow. It is all hard pack, now. Beau can even walk on top of it and not fall through. He loved being out in the storm while everyone was shoveling. He had icicles growing off of him when he finally came inside.

Hi Bee,

What a mess, we got around the same amount, problem was it wasn't fluffy, it was like cement.

I spent most of the day with the wife, then went plowing last night. I finished everyone's driveway and then headed for the business. Most of the front was full of the snow from the Town plowing the street. It was around 4 ' high and brutal to plow. I got the front pretty much done and then broke a hydraulic line to the plow.

So this morning I had a bunch of snow blowing to do so we could access a back garage.

Your Dogs look like they are having a blast playing in the snow. LOL

I'm tired, and I got to go visit the wife.

Hope you got some rest! Too bad about your plow, this snow is like cement! And isn't going to be melting just yet, either.
