Right. Don't mention me by name, there is a thought! 👍🏻

I said, "Almost half of Americans get their news from Facebook."

My source said, "More than 40 percent of American adults get news on Facebook...Two-thirds of Facebook users access news on the social platform, and with 67 percent of U.S. adults active on Facebook, that translates to 44 percent of the overall U.S. population which accesses news on the social platform."

Somehow I am being disingenuous even though I stated almost verbatim what Pew said. They said "get" and I said "get." Now, later in the report it does get more specific about how they get that news, they do "stumble" upon it, but that doesn't change the fact that they get it there. And that was the point: WHERE they get the news. It also doesn't change the fact, and it is a fact, that some of that news is from bogus sources.

I thought beetree would be the better person and admit that she was wrong to imply I was a liar. I guess I was wrong but I'm not surprised. She resembles Hans in many ways. I know that bothers her but if the little black dress fits...

You don't get the significance of the facts as how to be interpreted! Again, you have blinders on, because you must be right. I showed what you left out. Who cares if you copy and pasted correctly if your conclusion was to be misleading? That was the result, and I proved you out. OUCH. So sorry. Well, not really.

I didn't call you a liar, again— you want to rewrite what I write, but oops, not gonna happen tonight. You wanted to be smarty pants with your poem and making me seem petty, but instead you got egg on your face.

I could not care less about being "better" than another person, that idea is so ridiculous because of my advantage. I never relish an unfair fight. Not like the mob mentality. That is the favored postition.

Couldn't care less. 😉

The hypocrisy is that the bullying, vandalising and falsehoods aren't coming from the Trump camp, when their accusers were all the while loudly spouting fears, that would be their reaction if they lost. Instead, the accusers have become what they themselves accuse. And they hide within their mob safety, for anonymity and sharing the same petty mentality, too.

OK, I'll play along since this means so much to you. I'll amend my statement because the last thing I would want is for any perceived ingenuousness to hurt your delicate sensibilities.

Almost half of Americans get the news from Facebook while going there to do whatever it is people do there (I don't do Facebook).

Now, let's go back to the original question: where do almost half of Americans get the news from? Hmmmmm....oh yeah, Facebook.

Does this mean that they don't also get it from other sources? Of course not. But it does mean that they are being exposed to a large amount of fake news. And that was the whole point.

I hope your happy now. I would hate for you to drop a 5 pound kettlebell on your foot out of frustration.

And that wasn't a poem. It was a song by The Smiths. You don't know who Morrissey is? How damn old are you?

As I understood Noitsyou's source, there is some separation in between the "half of all Americans" bit and the "every use of Facebook" * bit - it's not just the same people being discussed twice. Who needs reminding - yet again - that the USA is not the whole world ?

* "2/3rds of Facebook users ..."

I don't recall the dems calling to get the pitchforks out and hiding behind the second amendment for "something to happen".

I do see Obama treating Trump like a slow child to give him more time than normal to show him how a president does stuff.

But the election is " rigged"..... prolly what the majority of voters in the election now think when the minority gained power rigged, rigged, rigged.
