Retired and without a uterus. Still has eggs, though ;) I've joked about harvesting her eggs and implanting them in someone else (JOKE). I have my 3-4 (more than that, really) on Etzel/Hera. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=2257371-veronica-von-der-prinzenbruecke

Also, I have his half sister Dora von der Gewurzwiese, also an Uno daughter, so I have her future generations to take back to him. I have a plan :)

You know Otto Grasekamp is a member of my Landesgroup, not living far away from me?
Glad to see his visions have been able to cross the ocean.

No, I didn't know that! A friend has some connections to him, which is where I have garnered some of my knowledge of the dogs, besides what I see with my own eyes. Do you know his dogs personally, then?

Obviously the conflict between the dog and previous owner was caused by the owner as he is doing well with you. Some if not most would have blamed the dog and some ghost in his genes. Usually you can find the causes of your dog's training problems if you look in the mirror. Don't blame the dog!!!  If you wreck your relationship with your dog the solution may be to rehome.  The strength of your new dog is that he lost confidence in his old human but did not lose confidence in all humans.

I saw Metin, mabe, I am not sure, I saw Uno, but I saw Mr Grasekamp judging several times. He was no "showline" IPO judge, didn´t get many invitations, only the "real" clubs invited him, the dogs had to do a good job, otherwise not many points... Oer Erckenschwick ( his local club ) was known for good working dogs ( and good training ) for decades.

Yes, I know that about him. I get a bit irritated when I hear people make comments that Stadtfeld dogs cannot be good working dogs because they have beautiful structure. Drives me crazy, because they are good, strong dogs, and he is not a permissive "showline" person/judge.

What did you think of Uno?

Deleted  your comments

Why cannot you listen, learn, be nice.

Why do you think your job is to cause trouble, be an unpleasant person, be rude and push the limits on lack of  politeness.
