Wow- I don't know why, but I am just now seeing the 3rd page with Black Malinois' and Beetree's posts.

Black Malinois, what is it that is so confusing to you? A seller sold a dog and a buyer bought him. Happens every day. He's my dog for life, now, even if he's sterile. Sure, several people have seen him in "real life" so far, but he's only been here 3 months. Whether he becomes a "stud dog" remains to be seen. As of yet, he hasn't produced a damn thing and it'll be a couple years before before any pups would be ready to judge anyway, so I don't quite understand your alarm/confusion.

Beetree, nice try, but no. Just a lighthearted joke based on Bavarian Wagon's pervasive negativity about people thinking good things about their own dogs.

Congratulations on adding a new GSD to your home. It will be interesting to see what he produces with your Capri progeny.

Nice type, can't say much about drives or nerve from a pic tho.

Jen curious, you have consistently lectured us on the unimportance of titles and the lack of value of trials. My question is would you have bought this dog as a stud if he was not titled?

Actually not a smart ass question, just trying to make a point.

Anyhoo nice looking dog.

The dog was sold at 4 yrs old by co-owner breeders and it hasn't produced an offspring?

Being "polite and thoughtful" can be over rated imo~ I'd prefer members speak their minds freely on these threads I want to hear everyone's 2cents ,,,,

Ruger this can be done with manners and being polite.

I encourage speaking truthfully and openly and I fully believe that it can be done without hurting anyone or being rude.

I'm wondering why Mithuna is so obsessed with me. It's creepy.

I don't have a problem with people speaking truthfully or openly either, but isn't it kind of ridiculous to jump on somebody else's thread when they're just sharing pictures of their dogs, with the intent to bad mouth those dogs? Seriously, is just ENJOYING pictures a crime these days? Is it really appropriate or necessary to be a jerk in that instance?

Nobody forced anybody to compliment my dogs or the pictures. If they posted, they did so by choice, and recognized what was being shown. The love between an owner and her dogs. Because they can appreciate that and not see the need to be nasty for the sake of it. It gets old.

Jenni, enjoy your new boy. I hope your son enjoys him, as it looks like they're good friends already :)

Ok ---Jen,  you should know how you meant what you wrote and if it was a joke. Still, I wouldn't ever believe you would write such a Topic description and mean it, at the same time. The particular Bav reference is not so readily apparent if one hasn't been faithfully following along.

Somehow, the idea of you buying a sterile GSD import would seem out of your character or that you would be looking for a dog to be just a pet. Not that I care one way or the other, mind you!

It isn't a stretch to see where he might also fill the void left when you lost your heart dog and stud, Caleb. I did say he was a keeper, IMHO. Glad to know you feel the same.

I would be willing to bet anyone here, there will be pictures of puppies by him being posted here, sooner rather than later. It only might take years for their proper evaluations at maturity, perhaps.

Pete, please cite your sources for saying I have "consistently lectured on the unimportance of titles and blah blah blah." I think you're relatively new to the boards and more focused on stirring trouble than getting your stories straight, perhaps ;-) . Even my foundation bitch, born ten years ago, was not only titled, but koer'd as well, and my other breeding females, save one I acquired at 4, have been titled as well. Look at the studs I have used and tell me again what your point is? I think you are mistaking someone saying titles aren't the ONLY or even the MOST important thing for saying titles are "unimportant." If you really believed that, a quick look at the breedings I have done would quickly straighten that out, but I don't think you really care to go to all that trouble- I think it's more fun to just stir the pot. But I'll bite- I have infinitely more respect for you, obnoxious as you are, because you are not an anonymous troll, you're direct, even if horribly rude, and because you actually post stuff about your dogs, as opposed to posting thinly veiled insults behind the safety of your keyboard. Yes, I'd have bought him if he weren't V rated, IPO3, KKL. But I'd have paid less Shades Smile ! And I'd not offer him to outside females.

Beetree, I didn't buy him as just a "stud."  I didn't say I bought him as just a "pet" either, although he is first and foremost our companion and (fun) working dog. I am a breeder. That's not a secret. I'm pretty transparent. I am not sure why you make Captain Obvious-style statements like "we'll see puppies from him" and want some sort of recognition for clairvoyance when it happens (check back in about 2 weeks, altough I don't make a habit of posting pups here). You could also check FB or working-dog.eu to give your clairvoyance a boost. It would be nice if you would leave Caleb out of this (and everything else, actually.)  He has nothing to do with this, Madox is absolutely nothing like him, and Caleb is not up for discussion. Of course I will breed Madox and see how he produces. I know the lines and he's typical, so it should go fine. I think he could bring some good things to the table. The dog thinks I hung the moon and he's not going anywhere even if he has to be neutered tomorrow or produces the most awful pups I've ever seen, though.

Chaz, you are mistaken. He was owned by a regular guy with a regular job. He finished this dog, started over with a puppy, sold this dog as his puppy got older and further into the work. Attention to detail really pays off when you're trying to insult someone, or else you just look ignorant. Shame. It's not unusual at all in Germany for a regular person to own a titled dog that's never been bred. Or, maybe I am really stupid and I got duped by a laughing German who sold me a p.o.s. sterile dog. Is that what you're hoping to hear? Since you're just in Michigan, why not take a little road trip and come meet him? Feel free to test his sperm quality, too. ;-)

Xeph, he's not only obsessed with you. He's obsessed with lots of people. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. There seems to be a subset of forum folks who cannot handle people just enjoying their dogs and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Whether it's that they don't agree with the type of dogs you prefer or just don't like you personally, they have to chime in and put their $.02 in and stir up trouble, even in the most innocent of threads, like yours. Hell, even in this one- I didn't ask anyone to evaluate Madox's nerves or working ability by a couple family-life style photos, yet the chatter is already going on about how can he be deemed beautiful if people haven't seen him work and soon it will be good looking dogs can't work, etc. etc. All on a "new dog" intro thread. Such is forum life. SSDD.

Lol. Aren't most breeders regular guys, with regular jobs? We aren't talking puppy Mills, are we? Wtf are you talking about? You stated it was a co-owner dog and he breeds dogs. You stated it is still listed on Euro as co-owner by the two gentlemen. Are you lost? Nobody co-owns a dog that is intended for anything outside of breeding or high level competition.

I didn't address you or insinuate anything. I was merely pointing out the flaws in this breed. Since you took offense and addressed me, I will now tell you what I think.

You started this thread with false advertisement. Your title is your billboard. You sucked so many people on here to look at your new stud and tell you how pretty he is. That was your intention. Prove your sarcasm and post a video of this dog that isn't ugly, has great drive, and has good nerve. Also, show me a video of how great the dog works with you as opposed to the previous owner that actually titled the dog. Yeah, you didn't realize you threw him under the bus and had to take it back previously, right?

You use this sight to sell your puppies to people that don't know any better. You obviously don't know any better. You threw me under the bus asking me for a favor years ago. You threw the previous owner of this dog under the bus in this thread and tried to back peddle.

I don't need to test your dogs sperm. I'm sure you've drained him dry and I'll just take your word for it. If you really want to prove something to me, take the dog to a trial. Heck, I even said earlier, post a video. Don't lash out at me. I'm not the one posting billboard threads hoping everyone will bite.
