Just wait till knvp makes it way to the states, can't wait for lonely old women and ipo judges and trainers to ruin that too , that's what happens when you got no business owning a working dog but you got nothing better to do on a Sunday mornings so you start an ipo club and Comlpelty ruin the breed. I've seen it so many times it's unreal

Shawnicus Rex, how is the lonely old lady ruining the breed? I've been around pretty much every club in my state and many others around the country. Lonely old lady goes out and usually buys a crappy dog. Takes forever to train it, even being retired, and goes home happy on club days because you slowed down and fed the dog the sleeve on an escape.
How is that ruining the breed? Lonely old lady isn't breeding said dog....dog rarely gets titled.

What's ruining the breed are these younger people that don't do anything with their dogs, they buy titled garbage from overseas and they breed it.
I've said before, it doesn't matter if you do IPO, knpv, hiv....all of these dogs come from the same lines. It is training after genetics. And I'm not including show lines. In IPO, you can see a wide range of dogs. The reason? People choose which particular lines out of their knowledge and people train these particular dog out of their knowledge.

The worst thing Lonely old lady does is give that POS puppy a home, which enables that breeder to continue pumping out crap.

Do you breed? Because if you don't, you are ruining the breed. If you know there is a problem, and you're not doing your best to preserve what you feel is the right representation of the breed, you are far worse than Lonely old lady. If you aren't helping to supply, us imbeciles, with the right GSD, you are the root of the problem.

Let me add, if you're not breeding the true representatives and selling them for way less than the rest of the others, your words mean nothing. We all know that selling 6 puppies at $1000 covers way more than your expenses. So why charge $1500 or $2000? Seriously? You are doing it for the love of the breed. And if you are charging a reasonable price like that, don't you think Lonely old lady would choose yours over the more expensive, or do you think you'd laugh at Lonely old lady and not want her to have your high quality puppy because it would be wasted on her? Do you see the cycle?

Lonely old ladies with nothing to
Do and extra cash usually end up buying dogs they shouldn't have and once the pup gets a little older and they can't handle it they usually end up neutered or put down cause they had no business owning a working dog .the dog never gets to fulfill his potential and there goes that .
I've seen people who had no business Owning dogs end up with some old line Czech dogs , DDR dogs or super nice imported malis etc and once the dogs matures a bit and bites them either out of frustration or lack of training and direction they Blame the dog for having poor nerves or some other ridiculous reason.

Like I said, do you breed? Are you bettering the breed? Or are you just talking shit?

Chaz why does saying DDR make you laugh?

At the risk of vilifying the poor guy just because *I* defended him...LOL...I don't think you understood what Bill was saying, Black Malinois. He certainly would not disagree that temperament/strong nerves are the most important thing. Maybe I misunderstood exactly what you were mocking, but it seems like you got the wrong idea. Bill and Jen are absolute die-hard temperament breeders, not breeders of just "drive" as you seem to allege. Nerves are of supreme importance to their program.

Jenny,
You do you find yourself in the same league as Bill in breeding? Do you think you are producing what Bill does?
