A terrible loss, the result of a freak accident. Daily, thousands of dogs spend hours unsupervised at home while wearing various types of collars when their owners are at work and school, and their people come back home to nothing tragic...and then a tragedy like this robs a family of their dog, and we're reminded of how present that risk is from something as innocent as their collar.

My heart goes out to his people.

Cowboy didn't wear a collar at home. Only when traveling to a show. Anya was preparing to leave for a show this weekend and so he had his collar with tags on.

It's a horrible thing that has happened and right now she's just trying to keep going. I spent many a weekend with them, traveled with them...my CH Moto was the first champion he produced. Cowboy was also collected many times over.  There isn't a lack of semen.  Plus, he has plenty of sons out there.
