Just what we need, backseat admin. You guys just can't stop. Give an inch take a foot. Oh well so goes the career of an internet forum poster. We give you an OT forum on a dog website and there always has to be a select group who just can't seem to understand the rules or control themselves. Always those who know better or think they are smarter or think by being a smart ass it makes them cute. We don't think it is cute nor do we appreciate the humor. We have a job to do and we will do it, whether members like it or not. Now lets get back to some off topic posts because we all know this is where the really cool people hang out, right, oh so cool. BTW, Vito for the 23rd time, no we will not delete your account no matter how many times you beg.

We were having a bit of fun Gsd,,,

It seems that’s not allowed around here anymore.
No one was playing cool or being a smartass, well maybe a jackass lol,  but it was done in fun and wasn’t hurting anything, except a select someone’s ego ,,,,
That’s really what this nonsense is all about.
It’s not about anything else ,,,,
,
I’d really hoped you’d be the voice of reason,,,,

We are not really cool people, we just wanted to have innocent fun not hurting anyone...no calling namrs, no trolling anybody; just plain ol' fun.
As for " now let's get back to some off topic posts...". Nope. Why bother.

When you target an admin or the admin, you get what you get. We don't go out of our way to point fun at members or to put members on the outside of an inside joke. We expect the same in return, pretty simple common decency.

by Vito Andolini on 20 November 2018 - 15:11

Really? So the snarky comments are professional from the Mods?

Simple light-hearted fun should not be seen as targeting. I guess thicker skin or the ability to separate themselves from threads personally, is needed. You can't have it both ways. Either do your job and keep your personal feelings and thoughts out it, or expect a reaction.

Like I said, this was all in fun. I didn't know people here were so delicate and sensitive. In reading their PMs, I would have thought differently. I sincerely apologise for posting a clip from a comedy.

Vito, I have always been able to take what I give. You may have had light-hearted fun but the piling on effect has an affect. I very very rarely ever delete posts but that is me and I am not all admin. I took a year and a half break from this website because of work but I do know how this place can change a person. Been there done that. What may be light hearted fun to some can be harassment to others. We all have not lived the same life experiences.

GSD~ Maybe others are do for a break as well. Just sayin ,,, even the president only serves a term!

I have always appreciated your dishing it out, but being able to take it ~ kinda attitude 😁 I like the way you moderate!

Sadly, most are not able to do that and it should be a prerequisite for filling the position IMO,,,

It’s the Off Topic. There is nothing in the rules posted that says you can’t change the topic, especially when the topic is not clearly defined and the original poster has communicated that it was meant to be a free thread !

If people including mods are “taking” offenses from comments, then maybe they have need of some inner reflection and self examination. Reading into comments what you want them to mean should not be a mods job imo ,,,

And yes, I believe all places of leadership require thick skin. If a person can’t be approached or disagreed with without fear of consequence, that’s a poor leader ,,,,

LMFAO, Ruger you and your boyfriend are the ones with the ego problem not me. If you mean me when you say due a break, thanks for thinking of me but I'm quite fine thanks, lol.

When a Moderator deletes something it's not smart to repost it, Vito titled the video one of our Mods who do you think he meant?
You have been nothing but awkward since I pulled you up about posting the wrong dog name as did a few others. You were annoyed with another member too, you would not stop PMing me and that's why you have been on my case. You can disagree with me all day but just do it in PM's, simple!!

I have asked you, Vito and others to abide by the rules and leave moderators out of your comments and threads but they continue. So I will do my job and delete anything about Mods, if you don't like that then tough!! Personally I would lock this thread as it's just an excuse for you and the others to vent on mods. You would think after all this time you guys would be over your mod phobia, JUST SAYIN' lol, lol.

I actually have always gotten along with mods ,,,
I have no phobia of moderation, I believe in it when it’s done right.

You are correct  I tried to communicate to you how I felt about your comments and I stand by what I said . You were wrong.  I said nothing disrespectful to you, but the truth made you angry.

I would kindly ask you to keep my personal business private!
I would think you would be more appropriate ,,,
