There is so much to this art, it’s breadth of scope and the total affect on the human condition. I don’t no where to begin, but some of the other postings I read on other threads left me feeling such elemental and empirical beauty within a forced farce of the mundane. This deserves its own club, (not to be confused with gangland gatherings !)

Bee, excellent thread! Been waiting a long time for someone in off topic to bring this to us! Went to the live link...checked out the office choices....the " Fresh and Airy" is by far my fav... What do you think?

WTF is the eggshell finish scam?

by joanro on 21 November 2018 - 02:11

Ruger, that's very nice. I like.

LMAO!

Look, it is like this... the desicrators/decorators convince you to paint the walls in matte (dull) (eggshell) finish because it hides “imperfections”.

BUT if you actually plan to live in said abode past the years expected, you will want at least a semi gloss finish on the walls, and a gloss on the trim. Dust and the detrimus of life can not gather on slicker surfaces like they do on a matte or dull one.

That is my story and I am sticking with it.

PS. I live in a circa 1860 farmhouse.
