maybe the CEO of the, very retro, wire screen porch doors ...painted rust color.

I have replaced both my sliders with the pet mesh screens. The funniest thing is to see them bounce off, when they least expect it, those rowdy beasts!

by joanro on 02 December 2018 - 00:12

I can just see that. Funny visual.

by beetree on 02 December 2018 - 00:12

Absolutely, Joan, lol! Now as a further tip for folks, you can buy this pet screen mesh in different colors; a black or a grey. While the threads are thicker than non-bouncing screens, it doesn’t take too long for the eyes to adjust and see through them. The trade off is worth it. You know, that look of neglect from ripped and flapping screens .... that never get repaired?

by beetree on 02 December 2018 - 00:12

I keep hoping Oli will want to fix this glitch!

Vito-

That sound nice too! Muntin....now that is a word for the New York Times crossword puzzle.

I thought something like this ⬇️...except these cherubs look like mobsters wanting to pelt me hard, with roses.

Yeah, I always wondered why psychics bothered with customers at all....and not just played the stock market.

‘My Other Pillow’ 😂
You know, I think you got something there!

Yes, a wine and paint party would be fun! Until we saw the work the next day, as the sun was coming up...

Joan -maybe the CEO of the, very retro, wire screen porch doors ...painted rust color.

Some good brainstorming here.

Think of all the pseudo industrial design and the pseudo farmhouse design and interior decorator people we could sell to!

PS: Let make sure the rusty screen is on a clackety wood frame that doesn’t quite fit the door frame, for authenticity’s sake. Oh, right Bee...and that ubiquitous rip right by the door handle.

Ahhh, its so nice and peaceful back here....🦄🦋🌻🍸🏝

I have some real strong feelings about the all-in-one primer and paint available in colors. Anyone else? Fan or not?

Bee-
I think primer/paint all in one was used on my walls....from BM, but I’m not sure.

Anyway, being all flat white...I could have just as easily and probably a lot cheaper used just straight primer! LOL! Although...come to think of it...maybe my walls are eggshell...its hard to tell sometimes because eggshell doesn’t have that much gloss.

The color of 1-2-3 Bullseye from Zinnser, is exactly the same as BM’s Chantilly Lace...a pure white without any undertones. I use it as a cheaper way to touch up.

So what are you feelings about all-in-one?

BTW...apropos painting murals...

....Found a mural I really like...not to corny, or one to get tired of quickly...in my opinion.

But of course a matter of taste...

One could probably do it ones self with a stencil (and a glass of wine). Hmmm, or free-hand would work too since tree branches don’t need to be  super perfect.

Or simply use patterned wallpaper...preferably the non-glue, easy removable kind. But for nice wallpaper....the price shoots up really fast.
