Valk Iv total confidence in the dog. No he is not a pup but he is young. The dog definitely not lacking in any area and that is because of the way I work him. Would he work without me speaking of course he would. But that is not the point of the exercise. We're a team when we work on a lead we work together weather that is me talking to him or getting physical with aggresser. When I'm not around and he's on the front of house he will work on his own because that is his job. And he does this very confident and very serious. So why would I change my handling of him. When the dog is on a lead he is working for me and on the door he is working in a different mindset..

Agreed Duke training has to be suitable for the dog you are working at each time. You definitely can not train certain things. If a dog is not, territorial or protective of his are. You can then teach. By using red spots as I call them. A lot of sports type would need this. Big difference between training and teaching 😉
