Hello everyone!
I'm pretty new on this page and I don't know if some else has made this question before but, here it goes:
If a dog is rated as excellent/good/fair good by the OFA, the dog will never have hip dysplasia? Or that means he/she will be less likely to develop it?

no, it does not mean they will never develop it. It means that at the time of evaluation (2 yo minimum), they show no signs of HD. there can always be injuries or sometimes environmental conditions or even genetics affect in the future.

In SV, popular stud dogs (forget how many breeding's) have to be re-evaluated at 5 y.o. a pretty good idea.

It's what we have at this time to evaluate.

best,
Rik

Well it was nice of you to bother, Rik, even if the OP does not acknowledge your help !
