Indeed, BMartin, I learned early on in my skydiving career what a good teacher pain can be!  Not the first time I've been bitten; probably won't be the last.

Some things I've learned it's hard to do one handed...type, wash your hair, floss your teeth, cut steak, tie your shoes, dry off, dress yourself, dress your wound, open pill bottles, open beer!  If anyone ever heard me say that I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous, I take it back.

KITTY...Kitty...kitty....Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Now tell the trut...

by Sheesh on 22 February 2012 - 00:02

Well, I am not a physician, so I would never advise that.... but I "have heard" that people do take Cephalexin, 500 mg 3 times a day for dog bites... Please wash it out a few times a day with warm water too...

Seemed like a good idea at the time... one of my over-used expressions due to my own stupidity seems like it may fit in this case.

That's awesome, I like the bruising.  We were discussing my ailments today.. all were related to dog bites and training.  Good times

Not the pit rescue I worked with this weekend...he was ok if a little -dim-witted.

Who was dim-witted?  Sorry, it always seems when ever I am bit I was the dim witted one, never the dog.

Hope you heal fast and feel better.

Jim

Thanks, Jim, and indeed I was the dim-witted one in this case.

I meant to say that it wasn't the pit that got me.  If I am to be truthful, he may not be dim-witted at all...he doesn't get out much and was simply so interested in everything going on around him that it was hard to get his attention.

If a red line starts running up your arm, get to the docs right away. Hope you heal fast.
