Our Thoughts are with Wendy and family at this very sad time.

Ryan and Karen

by Alyson R on 15 November 2009 - 18:11

I have just received this message from Wendy Stephens which I know she would want to be shared:-

If you should like to join us in saying our farewells to Graham on Tuesday 24th November at 12.20pm you will be warmly welcomed at The Kingswood Chapel, Worthing Crematorium, Horsham Road, Findon, Near Worthing, West Sussex BN14 0RG - and afterwards in celebrating his life at Ardenburg, London Road, Albourne, West Sussex BN6 9BJ.

It would help with catering arrangements at Ardenburg by mailing julia@ardengrange.com please or by telephoning her direct line 01273 836330.

We would prefer everyone to bring just one flower to go with Graham, and if you wish to make a donation to a Charity on his behalf these are two that we have chosen who would be very grateful for your generosity:

'The GSD Welfare Fund' - please send your donations to Julia O'Gorman, Arden Grange, London Road,
Albourne, West Sussex BN6 9BJ who will forward them to the Charity.

'Graham Stephens Forget Me Not Fund' (which is part of Leukaemia Research) - their web address is www.lrf.org.uk/en/1/fmnfdonate.html and donations can be made online, by telephone or post. Please remember to tick the Gift Aid box, which will add 28p for every £1 donated.

Thank you for all the kind messages, cards and flowers that we have received, Graham would have been very touched by your support for his family.
Wendy x.

YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WENDY ARE IN OUR PRAYERS
SHEENA AND HARRY

My sincere condolences to Wendy and family. They say it is an honour to be born a gentleman, but a great achievment to die one,  i think Graham fell into this catagory, he truly was a Gentleman,  as well as  being a Gentle man.
The GSD fraternity has lost a true friend, and like a few that have recently gone before him, the same sentiment can be echoed,  his like will not be seen again.

May his soul rest in peace.

  Paul Rattigan.
