99% sure it's longcoat - I had one just like this- I bought him (German import) in the hope of showing. The breeder told me he was a 'plush' or 'show' type coat- but as he developed it became even more obvious. Breeder offered to exchange pup.

Where's Robin?? She always gets these right. I'm leaning towards not a long coat, just a nice show coat but ask her. (crhuerta)

I'm not seeing anything from pics that says long coat. may need a little more time. look at bottom of the feet and see if hair is growing out between the pads, often a good indicator.

Me still says short coat as my long coat pups had loads more fluff around the face,looking teddy bear but to me this pup has a normal gsd look n expression.Will have a glamorous coat(plush to u yanks)but long coat.NO WAY IMHO.Carole S.

He will be a short show coat ( normal quality coat ) as Carole said, if he was to be a long coat i would expect more coat on the head and legs

I think he's a plush show coat, not long stock coat.
Here is my LSC at 6 weeks.

At 10 weeks

and current NASS photo at exactly 6 months
