I have never had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Willis but did correspond a bit with him on email and have been a great fan of his and his books for many many years. I can only echo what Joyce and Linda said. He has been an incredible asset to our breed as well as other dog breeds.

Please extend my best wishes  to Dr. Willis and his wife and tell them they are held in our hearts and our prayers.

With the greatest respect and hope for a good recovery,

Beth Shea

I have received the following update from Malcolm's wife.

Hello David, Just an update on Malcolm's condition. He has been moved to a Cottage Hospital which I suppose is a type of convalescent hospital. This has been done, I would guess, in an attempt to help with his mobility. He is having occupational therapy every day and is able to walk about now with the aide of a Zimmer Frame but needs two assistants to lift and move him. He is very lucid, comfortable and stable and looking forward to coming home. He would like to thank everyone for their phone calls, cards, letters and messages of support which have been overwhelming. He was concerned to learn of the KC decision re CCs in GSD in 2012.

So pleased to hear that Malcolm is progressing, but dont let him see the Times Newspaper Helen or he will regain new strength and be throwing that Zimmer frame at them....   love   Mo

I have received the following excellent news from Malcolm's wife Helen.

Hi David, Malcolm home from hospital and glad to be in his own surroundings. I am feeding him up to get his strength back! He would like to thank everyone who sent cards and enquired about him as it did mean a great deal during the eight weeks. Helen
