JUST A WEE MESSAGE TO ALL


The DOWNLOADABLE SCHEDULE AND ENTRY FORM is not ready yet - the League are processing a complete Package from their Regional one and the Scottish one so that it will be available in the same format for all Clubs/Groups that are now affiliated to them.

I can however give you a copy of the details of the Schedule just for information.  The downloadable one will be available as soon as we can have it on the League Website and Jacquenetta.

MALE CLASSES

1. MPD = MINOR PUPPY DOG
2. PD = PUPPY DOG
3. JD = JUNIOR DOG
4. YD = YEARLING DOG
5. AD = ADULT DOG
6. WD = WORKING DOG FEMALE CLASSES

1. MPB = MINOR PUPPY BITCH
2. PB = PUPPY BITCH
3. JB = JUNIOR BITCH
4. YB = YEARLING BITCH
5. AB = ADULT BITCH
6. WB = WORKING BITCH



JUNIOR HANDLING - around lunchtime

DEFINITION OF CLASSES


All Dogs MUST be identifiable by either TATTOO or MICROCHIP


MINOR PUPPY: For dogs of six (6) and not exceeding nine (9) calendar months of age


PUPPY: For dogs of nine (9) and not exceeding twelve (12) calendar months of age


JUNIOR - (JUGEND) - 12 - 18 Months

* Hip Scores are not required, however if a score has been granted it MUST be disclosed


YEARLING - (JUNGHUND) - 18 - 24 Months

* Hip Scores are required and MUST be disclosed

ADULT CLASS REQUIREMENTS - ADULT 24 Months +

* UK BREED SURVEY

* Any Dog with or without a SchH/VPG/IPO Training Degree, but NO KORUNG can Enter the Adult Class provided they meet the above criteria, however their Training Degree will NOT be taken into account


WORKING CLASS REQUIREMENTS - WORKING - (GEBRAUCHSHUND) - 24 Months +

* All dogs must have a Korung
* All dogs must have a Training Degree of at least a SchH1/VPG1/IPO
* All dogs will be subject to off lead gating (no more than one lap of the ring)
* Only dogs who have Korung are eligible to enter a Working Class

ALL dogs over 12 mths will be required to pass a GUN TEST.
ALL dogs over 12 mths will be measured.

SUMMARY of the REGIONAL EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS
(Based on WUSV/SV Rules & Regulations)

1. The Event is open to German Shepherd Dogs only.
2. The Event will be based on WUSV Rules & Regulations.
3. The Event will open at 8.00 a.m.
4. Judging will commence at 9.00 a.m.
5. Entry Fees must accompany the Entry.
6. The Scottish Progressive GSD Group reserves the right to refuse Entries.
7. The Judges’ decisions are final.
8. Exhibitors are responsible for being on time for their Classes.
9. The Working Group reserves the right to exclude any dog which is not in a fit state for exhibition due to disease or any other cause.
10. Should any Judge be prevented from fulfilling his/her engagement another Judge will be appointed
11. ALL handlers when exhibiting in the Ring must wear a Numbered Bib. The Bib must be clearly visible. It is the dog owner’s responsibility to ensure the Bib is returned to the Steward/s at the end of each Class, otherwise non-returned Bibs will be charged for at £10 each.
12. There will be a mandatory Gun Test for all Classes over the age of 12 months.
13. ALL Exhibits must have verifiable identification of a Tattoo Number or ISO approved Microchip.
14. ALL dogs over 24 months must have a Breed Survey or a Korung - Adult & Working Classes.
15. ALL exhibitors should collect their Ring Numbers from the IDENTIFICATION STEWARD, who will check the dogs Tattoo Number or Microchip Number. Teeth & Testicles will be checked by the Judge.
16. ALL dogs over 12 months will be Measured.
17. ALL exhibitors and handlers must abide by all instructions by the Judges/Ring Stewards & Event Manager.
18. Cheques/Postal orders must be made payable to the “SPGSD GROUP”. If any cheque or postal order is not honoured immediately upon presentation to the Bank the entries will either be returned or the cheque re-presented for discharge. Exhibitors will be liable for the full costs or fees that are incurred.
19. In the event the “Regional Event” is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances the Group will refund any fees less reasonable expenses to all Exhibitors and if requested provide a Statement of the Costs.
20. Dogs must not be left unattended in the precincts of the Event and under no circumstances are they to be tied up. Dogs in cars - remedial action will be taken in the event of dogs left in cars being found in a distressed condition. Warning - if your dog is found to be at risk forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damage caused.
21. Exhibitors are responsible for the behaviour of their children and will be held responsible for any damage caused by them.
22. Awards will be given out at the end of each Class.
23. Winners may use the Titles of “Regional Sieger/Regional Siegerin” of their respective Classes.
24. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL LATE ENTRIES BE ACCEPTED.
25. Please respect the Venue and clean up after your animal. Anyone found not cleaning up after their animals will be asked to leave the Venue.
26. In the interest of SAFETY no running around the outside of the ring will be allowed. There will be a designated area for Exhibitors provided.
27. The use of Remote Trainers and Pinch Collars will not be allowed and anyone found using them will be
reported and disqualified.
28. Exhibitors are obligated to make true statements about their dog(s). Attempted deceptions may lead to the
Implementation of disciplinary procedures by the SPGSD Group, which may result in disqualification of the
Owners and the dog(s) from this and any future GSD Events based on WUSV Rules & Regulations.
29. Exhibitors are obligated to show sportsmanlike conduct. Offences determined by the Group&rsquo

DOGS IN CARS - Please be aware that vehicles heat very quickly even on a cool day. Please make sure that your vehicles are properly ventilated. If any dog is found to be in distress then forcible entry to your vehicle may be required however the Group accepts no responsibility for any damage caused .

AWARDS - Trophies 1st to 3rd Place with Medals 4th to 6th Place. Special Trophies for Regional Sieger/Regional Siegerin. SV Grading Cards for ALL Classes. Rosettes for Junior Handling.
