Dogs like the B-litter lierberg still is very close to the all dogs I posted, I doubt the structure was a weak point for working and health when the breed was started. Pictures can be hard to judge I think, but if a dog is able to work hard without injuries long in his life, then he has a healthy structure and we can´t judge tiny details on a picture or even real life if the dog is sound in build or not. In the 60s dogs like this could be equally sucessfull in show and work, this is a handsome boy according to me, see no point in why this is not good enough today, at least I need a very good explanation why I´m wrong on this to change my mind;)

Many opinions of this breed come from the depth of the type of involvement you have in the breed. If you are involved in a lot of physical challenges with this breed, you understand and view the structure necessary to be successful as beautiful, if you are involved in large scale herding, you view the moderate structure and intelligence as beautiful, I have carried with me this mindset for 40 plus years and will never change and that is" the beauty of the dog is in its utility", most no longer buy into this because of specialization types.....but beauty is nobility, strength, courage, and intelligence, and thus that is why it's difficult to define but unmistakable when present. I personally find stacked dogs that have the worried look or their tail tucked down and IN outright ugly.....because of lack of nobility that is part of my definition of beauty.
