Don't worry, the night that you relax, & fall into a deep sleep, that's when she'll have them!  You'll be having dreams that there are little puppies running all over the place, & wake up to a whelping box full of pups! Good luck! jackie harris

Where are th damn puppies VM? Are you sure that's not beer and bacon cheeseburgers in there?

by VomMarischal on 15 March 2010 - 11:03

Yeah I'm seeing Jenny Craig in her future...either that or those puppies are going to be ready for their damn Bh when they come out of there.

?????????? ANY NEWS, THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME??????????

by VomMarischal on 16 March 2010 - 12:03

You think YOU are hurting?????

All I can say is, she has no fever, she is cheerful and energetic, and her appetite is good, so  I have no reason to suspect that anything bad is going on in there. You know how they say....58 to 67 days? Well....I guess it's going to be 67. I saw a little more of that mucous today, but her temp is still 100.3 and she was crazy to have her breakfast.

In the meantime, I'm working on pneumonia and an ulcer from the stress!

Oh Marishal,
I feel for you. When my girl went to 67 days more than 5 years ago, I was going crazy. Called the vet every day, went for ultrasounds etc. When mine finally had her puppies, there were two lively ones and one stillborn (and he was huge and very long).
As long as there is no fetal distress and mom is fine, everything should be ok.
Today is the day I bet!!!

It sounds like she is OK from her behaviour etc. - but didn't you say her temperature dropped a few days ago?

by bazza on 16 March 2010 - 13:03

Vom, lol. I truly feel for you!!!

by VomMarischal on 16 March 2010 - 13:03

Oso, it dropped I THINK. It never went below EXACTLY 100, and her normal is 100.5; what if I just didn't leave it in long enough? She does wiggle.

Bazza, I'm kind of funny in a pathetic way, aren't I? My temp is 102 right now. Luckily I have a good next door neighbor who can help me with all this if I need her.
