Yes, I've been at it since 6:00 pacific time. Many shreds of evidence are coming together. I think it's a shame that so much of it was deleted from here. I think I have quite a few screen shots, though.

 I have no doubt that there are a lot of hands in the fire so to speak, I was curious if there way someone local to the dogs and to the authorities that would be willing to work as a point person so to say.

Might stop a  lot of duplicate efforts and might stop the dogs from falling between the cracks.

Just a suggestion.

Think you are the closest geographically? If there is anything I can do or if a donation is needed for boarding/ect please let me know.

 Jackie is nearer than I, but not near enough. I am in the process of reaching the Pres. of the group that seized the dogs to see what can be done. These dogs will fare worse than "normal" dogs in your average holding situation. There are enough of us, I think, that have personal info/evidence that I think we can get through...or I hope so anyway!!!

Speechless.  Disgusted.  Shocked.  But most of all I am soo soo sad.

If these dogs were placed with Bartmess by the the "owners", they don't deserve to have them back, IMHO.  I don't care how slick Janice is/was, there's no way she should have ever had the chance to do this again, PERIOD!

 That's true, Travels, but believe it or not, there are people out there who don't look people up online and are in the dark. I cannot believe anyone would entrust their dog to someone w/out a promise of their firstborn and a DNA sample (things I've been accused of wanting before I'll sell a dog, lol), but they're out there. There are trusting people and people who don't care- the problem is proving someone is one and not the other. 

 So very sad.   Also sad is the fact that those who virtually hounded the people who pointed out this miscreant and her actions lack the character to apologize as publicly as they scathed.   Not surprised by that anymore than I am about Barthness being arrested for it again.   

Abuse, whether of children, elders or animals, is a character issue and character  very rarely changes after one is an adult (some say after age 10).   Let's fact is, we all knew in fourth grade who was going to be most-likely-to-earn-a -death- sentence and who "everyone" thought could grow up to be president.   Character does not change.   So, I am not surprised to see Barthness in the news again for the same behavior.  Abusers did it before the one they were caught at, and they will repeat the behavior down the line...whether they are actually "caught" at, or not. 

Bravo and KUDOS to Jackie and Don for your efforts.   Also, BRAVO to Hodie, Jen Jackie  and Sock Puppet, who endured such ugly attacks by  some of the Barthness defenders.

Look who spoke out and look who defended her...Maggs didn't delete all of her posts.  Maggie Mae I had forgotten how pathetic and miserable you really are.
