What is the alternative to the KC registration scheme & who do you trust to run it ?

At present there is no alternative but to register litters under the kc registration system, hopefully that will change.
As for who I would like to see run it,the prominent contributors/breeders on here who are anti KC would be a wise choice.

Who are these trustable prominent breeders/contributors then?

Do your homework.

Hardly a proactive answer.  I have done my homework, which is why I’m asking the question that you didn’t answer.

I have no doubt that if need be the GSDL or even the breed council could start a reg system but we dont need to as we will use the KC system because that is what they keep telling us that they are a for registration only organization and dont have the power to make things mandatory

have just had the best ever answer from the Kennel Club regarding a registration..... it beggers belief   !!!   This was at 1pm - Registrations department today.   They wrote a letter to Zep explaining that he had to lift the endorsement from a GSD that he has bred,  to register her puppies.

I rang and explained that he was the breeder, and actually put the endorsement on.... she had now gone through the health screening, which they dont worry about anyways, and he was happy for her to have had a litter.

Answer:    " He must ask himself if he is happy to lift the registration " ! ! ! !    I kid you not ! ! !  I thought someone was joking and when I laughed, she then added...... wait for it....   " Does he know the endorsement was on and did he sign for the endorsement to be on otherwise it isnt valid"    I was just about to start again, and I said  "No he didnt sign any bit of paper to say that he knew the endorsement was on, apart from the litter registration to register her"   -  wait for it again..............." Then its ok, it isnt valid. " she said..... I am still wondering if it was a joke, but she was deadly serious.   Mo.

Mo, I think you have to have a signed paper with both signatures on stating both parties agree to the endorsement, otherwise the endorsement is invalid.
If you dont make the buyer aware of this it is not valid  -   I know a few people that have been caught out with this.  confusing or what !!!

she obviously has been programmed for stock phrases just like their members and PR people. I guess their induction courses have a brain washing section!
