Hi Paulie!  I'm making a bet with you... this time next year, we'll largely be up and running, alongside, if not completely independently of the KC... or I'll owe you a bottle of something to make you squiffy!

Go Mo!

by paulie on 11 January 2010 - 20:01

Mo, you have known me long enough to know that i am not a whinger, far from it, i just feel frustrated at the constant procrastinations  i will help in any capacity, but please lets do something constructive.
Bazza i didn't  read your post  yesterday so accept my apologies for basically plagiarizing your comments.

  Regards Paul.

OPEN FORUM MEETING

by

THE SCOTTISH PROGRESSIVE GSD GROUP
(Inaugural Meeting)

to be held in
THE LOUNGE of THE LOMOND CENTRE, GLENROTHES

on SATURDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2010

from 1 p.m. & 4 p.m.

{Refreshments of Coffee/Tea & Biscuits will be provided at a charge of £2.00 per head}

This Meeting is being held to discuss the way forward of all GSD Enthusiasts in Scotland in regard to the Kennel Club’s request for all UK GSD Clubs to sign a Contract of Undertaking.

The Meeting is open to ALL Officials/Committee & Members of the existing 5 GSD Clubs in Scotland, along with any other interested parties which include Pet Owners, Obedience & Agility, Working Trials and Schutzhund enthusiasts.

A Notice of Meeting will be e-mailed and/or posted out in the next few days - this will include an Attendance Returns Slip – numbers are required for Refreshments. We would be obliged if Returns Slips could be completed & attendance intimated to the Organisers by either e-mail or post to the address below by Monday 22nd of February, 2010.

We also invite discussion about a proposal we have for holding a Scottish Show/Event later in the year (SV Style), to include Open and Working Classes as well as all the usual ones and Junior Handling. There will be health requirements (to be agreed) for all dogs over 18 months, as well as mandatory identification. We hope to promote this NON KC Show/Event as an event that really does want the GSD as a breed to be ‘fit for life – fit for purpose’

We are looking for support from all like minded individuals or organisations to help us get started with assistance and/or donations.

Organisers:- Heather Macdonald & Aileen A Mathieson

Address for Returns Slips:- 10 Garden Street, Arbroath, Angus. DD11 2BD or via e-mail aileen.allsala@talktalk.net
