Jeeze, Silbersee, I never said they didn't exist. I said THOSE dogs didn't look sable to me. I have seen sable showlines dogs, but only in American lines. Also, I am fully aware that they aren't all GREY. And for the record, the grey dog in my avatar has a coal black saddle. I'm aware they have markings.

I also don't think the two dogs in the links look sable. They look like faded black and tan to me.

Vom Marischal, which ones do you mean look like faded black and tan - surely not Margman Torsten and Othello? They are definitely sable too..

Bit of a long way for you to visit now Oso! The snow is not too bad but not very keen to go yet, the dogs love it though. If you are back in the UK please look us up, whereabouts do you come from?

En France, j'ai une amie qui travaille sur la lignée TIMO. Elle produit ce qu'on appelle chez nous des "Fauves Charbonnés".

Ces chiens commencent a être appréciés par nos juges a cause justement de leur lignée maternelle (TIMO) qui manque à notre élevage.

Helen, I was born in Huntingdon (near you?), grew up in Leicestershire, went to Uni in Leeds then Aberystwyth, now my close family live in Scotland!! I have work contacts in Bristol...would love to see your dogs when I am next back...
