Michael you are correct to a degree and the lady her self has said in her article to the press "IT WAS BECAUSE THE PUP WAS UNSOUND" that she was asked to leave nothing to do with age............. the age thing has now come to light as a secondery/backout thread.
If THEY HAD ASKED HER TO LEAVE BECAUSE OF AGE SHE WOULD HAVE GONE NO PROBLEM not realising the pup was to young for a display and that would have been accepted Im sure, but of cause you would have to check this your self,But those of us who know her know she dose the best she can for the breed and will stand up for her writes despite her age but will also appologise if she is wrong.
Like I keep repeating myself over and over none of the other questions have been answered just DELETED...............strange how none of the posts on the age have and how they are still being followed.

Mikadene i think we will believe Pam's version of events over what you THINK happened, as she was actually involved!! Are you insinuating she has not told the truth?  Shame on you, you should really try harder before you open that ignorant big hole below your nose!!!!

Received from the KC in our Crufts Exhibitors pack a leaflet entitled:-

Notice to Exhibitors
Regulation F(1)15 - Exclusion of dogs.
Paragraph 3 reads:-

By way of a reminder to exhibitors, under Regulation F(1)15 (Exclusion of Dogs) if in the opinion of the Show Secretary, Show Manager or duly appointed official of the Kennel Club any dog is suffering from a visible condition which adversely affects its health or welfare the dog must be examined by the Veterinary Surgeon of the show to establish the validity of the allegation. The Veterinary Surgeon's opinion shall be final and if the allegation is upheld, the dog shall be excluded from all subsequent competition at the Show, including the Group.  However, the dog may remain at the show.  (My italics and bold)

Why then were Pam and her dog asked to leave Crufts?

Hi Alyson
I have put the question to the KC on face book
will await their answer with interest

I would say the answer is quite obvious (absolutely no disrespect intended to above posters), one rule for the GSD breed and a different rule for everyone else. They only abide by their own rules when it suits them to.

CAROL, YOU GOT IT IN ONE GIRL !!!!!

What I would now like to know though is what happens at Clubs which do not have a Vet in Attendance or are the KC now saying all CC shows must have a vet in attendance?????  Puzzled , as anyone having to deal with KC often is!!!!  lol

Regards

Hi Carol
I take your point and am in agreement.
But we as a breed need to question the KC when (in my opinion) they make an error with regards
to there own regulation and in such a nasty and public way that is aimed at the breed we love.
and the only public way I can put the question to the KC is face book

And I take no offence at you post

The KC are back tracking  copied from Facebook posted by KC IN A REPLY TO Pat from Australia

The Kennel Club
Hi Pat,
Regarding the owner who was asked to leave the show, the dog in question was only 5 months old and not old enough to participate, which the breeder knew - as the minimum age is 6 months.
