Mike, I suggest you read the posts... the puppy was not there to be shown!  Do you judge in such a cursory manner?    No wonder you need to "dontate" £100 to get an appointment!

I wish I'd saved that admission off the KC's facebook page... slap me...I'm getting lax

by mikadene on 21 March 2010 - 11:03

KC rules state that no puppy will be allowed within the precincts of the showground unless it is 6 months or older. She was in a team Yes but the puppy would not be allowed at any show in the country never mind crufts. If you took a puppy to your local open show under 6 months you would be asked to take the puppy off the showground .And skits like you have put only make me believe you can't communicate without making insults. Now pack it in and debate nicely.
May your God go with you
Michael

The Kennel Club admitted that the puppy was removed do to the Vet stating it had an 'abnormal back end'  Nothing to do with it's age.

Did anyone save that post?

Ah I did...damn I thought I was getting old...it's on the second page of this thread.

Quoting myself quoting the Kennel Club as they replied on Facebook., before they deleted everything.

I was just on my way out the door...when the KC posted this on Facebook in response....

The Kennel Club
The Kennel Club can confirm that a German Shepherd Dog was excluded from the Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme Display Ring. This decision was taken upon the advice of the DFS Crufts vet who felt that the dog showed abnormality in the hindquarters. The Kennel Club is dedicated to ensuring that DFS Crufts is a celebration of healthy dogs and in a display ring, where there is no judge to make an executive decision, it is particularly important that the vet takes the responsibility for ensuring that all dogs are sound representatives of their breed.

Absolutely nothing to do with it's age!

LOL... Mike... yes, they can 4 months and over... get your wee red book out!  I thought I had been nice .  Only reiterating what you told us earlier.

There is no debate, Mike.

This is directed to Mikadene, you have made a big deal on this thread and others about communication without insults and I just wondered if you are the same Mike Charlton that posted " Does the German Shepherd Dog receive Disability Walking Allowence." on the Crufts Facebook page? If so then perhaps you are not in the best position to lecture others on netiquette.
