I hope everyone has learned something from these posts.

I really don't want to get drawn into giving my opinion on individual dogs, I think it can only lead to further disagreement and argument, and I would never wish to offend anyone, or criticise their dogs on a 'personal' level, I feel it would be wrong for me to do so. 

When I talk of conformation/unsoundness etc, I prefer to keep it confined to a 'collective' statement of the showline in general. Of course some dogs I have seen have been better than others, some downright awful, and I still think the current 'template' needs moderating, but really like the type presented by Fayrelander Polly Flinders.

 It seems we agree on a lot of things, My main worry is obviously the future of the breed but also  that Dog showing in general will become a rich mans sport, and deny people who love their dogs, and enjoy showing them win or lose, the pleasure of a great day out with their dogs.and a chance to socialise with like minded friends.

                        has you memory gone then ? we are still waiting for your list of the 30 odd different judges that gave cc's to mr grays going for gold.
                        but we all know why you never ptoduced  a list-cos its just more of your defenseless bull**it !!
                         i would actually be amazed if you could find 30 odd alsation champshow judges.it always seems to us that its the same old " handful " that get the appointments every year.

Maybee My memory has gone as I don't  remember saying that Going for Gold ever got 30 odd tickets, What I said was that he was not far behind Nilo in the run up for Breed record holder. GFG got all his tickets from seperate judges where I believe Nilo got some of his from the same judges, which then don't count towards the record. but do count as CC's gained
hense Nilo's 52 tickets.
However both of these dogs are now dead and I for one would not approach either owner to verify this, Both these dogs where exeptional in their lifetime and both had lots to offer the breed, If I am incorrect about any statements I have made I appologise to their owners (Not to you)
Nilo holds the title for Breed Record Holder
However Going For Gold holds the record for All time Group Winner.

Indeed, whatever happened to just a fun day out with your dog?? I pray that it doesn't stop people producing dogs such a s yours from carrying on, as this is so what the breed needs. 

Yes, I think we share some worries for the breed, but it cheers me to see dogs such as this, with substance too.  I wish you every success, and I shall now keep my eye out for the name of Fayrelander :).

                       sorry - did not realise you were worse than i thought health wise. but to me if a dog has 52 cc's and YOU SAY going for gold was not far behind,then surely he must have around 30 odd.and once again you cannot name 30 DIFFERENT judges who gave him the tickets-i am afraid we dont believe that was either true or possible.you flippantly mentioned it to praise mr gray for some reason or other-oh yes he;s doing crufts next year.
