I have just had the same e-mail from ITV, it may not be entirely satisfactory given they are using GSDs and that the Dangerour Dogs Act is something we DO NOT want applied to our Breed but at least we were given a full explanation on their use of dogs in TV Programmes - UNLIKE THE KENNEL CLUB - who continue to waffle on and on but make no acceptable progress on the Health Issue of our Breed - which they could and should do given their access to the facilities to do this easily on Pedigrees and Registrations!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you ITV for at least replying in a civilised and well mannered way, but do not think that we all agree with the use of dogs for this purpose, especially German Shepherd Dogs or any large breed as this gives the public the wrong view of our Breed.

You have just completely ignored the fact that I do not like the idea of the dogs being used in this way, even if they were "looked after properly". It gives the general public a very bad impression of German Shepherd dogs as being vicious - an impression we, the serious German Shepherd breeders & owners, have been trying to get away from for the last 30 years.
