There are some people on here who just come on to bait and agitate... instead of responding, Bazza's suggesting that it's time for us to ignore them... I think he's right, but it may not be easy!

by bazza on 09 May 2010 - 21:05

Now you've made me post here again. lol. AgilityGSD you have got the wrong end of the stick, your posts I have enjoyed and have said so, I was talking about Dingodog and Not Current, sorry NoCurs, they just are not interested. So I think it's time for the rest of us to ignore any further heckling from either.
GAME ON?....

I certainly agree, and I would include "no fear" to be ignored also.

by bazza on 09 May 2010 - 21:05

WHO????? LOL.

NoCurs

Super! Now a serious conversation on GSDs can begin.

Like I said, when you don't really have anything of substance to say you resort to childish name calling. Seriously, if you look at these pasts posts it looks like 5th grade.

I have no dog in this fight except wanting high standards set from day one. Breeders make far too many excuses (in all breeds).

People who gage a person's "worth" by their start date?  Yeah.  OK.

I don't live in the UK.  I personally think the Brits should stick to terriers and retrievers. That's what they do best.

Anyway, I for one don't intend to "play" with a bunch of kiddies.  I simply wanted to point out that Dingodog was the only one making rational discussion - whether I agree with her or not.  Best of luck working your dogs, Dingo dog, that is what I am off to do. I don't spend much time on boards as I train my dogs.

ApoArmani, meant to ask have you ever considered moving to the UK, your kind of thinking would be most appreciated, I know that's a big ask, but if you don't try......lol,lol.

How strange that now Elmo has won a BIS suddenly all you 'progessive' types want to claim credit for him being 'one of yours' - may I remind you this was at a KC (wash my mouth out) champ show with KC CC's?   I also don't consider him exaggerated in any way and certainly not the extreme type.  He was also well handled with a minimum(!) of double handling, and won despite the handler of the second placed dog over running him to such an extent that Steve had to keep stopping to make the point.

But my opinion does not count, as I only joined this list recently - although actually I didn't, I just had to change my user name and chose this one as I had been accused of being several other people.  Even last week I was accused of being someone else.

And as for my interest in this - I was at Birmingham supporting Elmo who I met in the flesh for the first time, which was great as I have a son of his at home.

bazza, Thanks for the vote of confidence and when you throw something like that at me...my first reaction is; hey I'd be up against all those screaming Wenger out too!! :))

But seriously; there are more than capable people there with much knowledge and know how, to carry this through now and as you know; the best revolutions are executed with strategic internal action and assistance from the outside when needed!

Dopple... what's your beef this time?  He's a lovely, correct dog and................... what?  You object to him being congratulated or you object to "us" congratulating him, because he's correct?

You people nitpick, bait, sh*t stir and for what?  What's your point... it really isn't clear?  If we're such a problem for you, why join in with your "several" names and start off by having a pissy attitude in your posts?

I've enjoyed a few of your posts, so why can't you contribute withour being pissy.... about nothing!

by Doppelganger on 10 May 2010 - 10:05

Nit pick, bait and shi*t stir?  Oh for gods sake, I am obviously not the one with the problem.  I don't have lots of names either, just the one I changed to because I could not log on with my old name.

It has been said on here recently many times by several people  that anyone who shows at KC shows is basically a second class citizen and that KC CC's are not worth anything - I was trying to point out that excellent dogs can and do still show at these shows and win CC's which I am sure the owners do consider worth having.
