what kind of snake...just curious. Also is it possible for dog to survive bite from this type of snake ?

i like both......but for different reasons.  a good dog is a good dog irregardless.  working and show lines both have their fair share of crap dogs.

Hi there

I suspect a puff adder or night adder,not too sure.We found a few before.I was out of town for 7 weeks when this occurred.My wife was with the dogs.We usually find them around here.Our JRT normally spot them first.The dogs keep them away from the house.Snakes move around where it is quiet and with minimal activity.

About the snake bite!

I have never heard of a dog surviving a bite from an adder,unless the snake is a very young night adder.Most of the other  snakes around here are harmless.

Show or Working, if the dog is healthy physically and mentally...AND....HAS GREAT TEMPERAMENT, I would own either one, but my preference is Show line. It is what I own and enjoy.

Im a big fan of working lines but I do love me a nice west german showline as well theres some really nice ones out there..
