After reading the thread asking "about Son's of Nick in the USA" - I got to wondering - we are always comparing pedigree's - look at dogs such as Nick, Fero, Timmy, Troll - Crok , etc - or just simply asking if there are any sons of "this" dog around...

We are constantly debating about line breeding off of these dogs and talk about them quite a bit about one subject or another..

Who do you think- in the coming years - will people be talking about in the dogs pedigree that are currently on the grown now?  And why?

Voodoo Hartis Bohemia as well as Bandit vom Wolfsheim and his brother seem to be pretty popular already, or maybe its just me...

Dawulf - Voodoo is popular at this time - but tell me why you think that people will be talking about him in 20 years........Same with you Mystere...........You just named the dog - but why people would be talking about him in the future...........is he not just a dog that has competed a top level?  or is the dogs in the past the same............just competed at a high level - got some notoriety and that why we are talking about them now?  or is there something else?

Ok - I saw a typo in the orginal post - but it won't let me correct - so for the record it is "ground" ---who is on the ground.....

Anyway,  GSDpack - you say you don't like either dog mentioned -----who do you like..........can't say you don't like them and not add who you think that we will be seeing in twenty years..........

we can name names - but I do wish you would back up why you think we will see these dogs in the future pedigrees........will they be line breed like some of these dogs...........fero,timmy,troll, mink ,crok,,,etc?

I have to ask as well- I really like most of the dogs that are line bred - the ones I have mentioned --I realize these dogs where great - but personally when I look at the video's I can't say they are perfect....and I realize why they were bred so much .....is it a marketing strategy on behalf of the owners?   - but for argument sake - if they weren't marketed do you think you would see them so much in the pedigrees.......Even if they were great............... ?  but I guess that is another subject............

I still would like to know who you think would be the dogs of the future and why?

Think we'll be talking about future offspring from the following great studs in years to come, maybe line breeding off of them as well. Most have excellent ratings in structured & working / sport.
They seem to be able to pass these qualities onto their offspring as well. So can't imagine we won't be seeing our next greats out of their offspring soon to come.
Some might not be as well know, but should make their mark in the breed for WL. Researching on line breeding from a couple of the dogs listed in the future.

Falk von den Wölfen
Frankie Anrebri

Ufo vom Guy's Hof

Tom van 't Leefdaalhof

Marin zur Krombach

Yoschy von der Döllenwiese

Olex de Valsory

Hella vom Mutzbach

All of these have left us many sons and daughters who are also producing great working dogs with excellent conformation.  Of those I especially like Falk and Tom's kids, especially when combined with bitches who carry Yoschy and Olex.  Which lines will be shown to blend with them genetically is yet to be seen.

I really like what I'm seeing from Vito vom Waldwinkel  and Ellute von der Mohnwiese (GSH)(both Tom sons) Just noticed a nice Falk son (Miro vom Wällerhorst) in the Working Dog-Eu listings.. will be interesing to see how he produces .  I listed Hella as she's the dam of Paska and a number of other Salztalblick dogs who are also producing very well...  Too often we forget the Gals when we talk great dogs... lol

One of the very best Working lines at present is Tom van't Leefdaalhof, a continue of Orry his Grandfather. Toms Children and Brothers and Sisters are excellent so many to put here then you have his Grand Children in the Likes of Bomber and Bandit and Como and others, Yes a great line and of course relations to my next Puppy

Another Up and coming Dog as a Stud is Javir vom Talka Marda, much will be heard of his progeny in a few years time, byass  perhaps on my part as he is the Father of one of my Dogs
