Yeah I'd feel pretty lucky if that latter dog was in a decent place. You can help a boatload of rescues for the price of a legal battle for an old dog you don't actually WANT. OMG, is MONEY the issue? HAHAHAHA

That said, I did once pay $12k in lawyer fees to get a bitch and litter back. Incrementally. If the lawyer had told me on day one that it would be 12 grand, I might have had second thoughts....lawyers ain't cheap (except my current one, who is my best friend LOL).

Seriously, this really is the point though. A contract is only as good as your SAVINGS ACCOUNT.

Honestly, beetree, I have no desire to get into this Molly judging thing. I have been to her house, she treated me just fine. Her dogs and horses are well cared for, her kennel is clean and secure, and Eagle was one of the most impressive, sweetest tempered dogs I have ever met. She had several dogs there she had rescued that were looking for forever homes. I don't think any of them were her own breeding. I would not have hesitated to buy a dog from her or to have boarded a dog with her.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Blitzen, I have no doubt when everything goes the way Molly sees fit, there is no cause for concern. And on a side note, the free boarding policy for dog buyers is a sweet incentive. It's just those other times, and I do see a pattern, and it ain't pretty. And maybe that's all I have to say about the matter, too.
