Leash, obedience etc is the way to go. I used this only on my first GSD who was SL and the breeder did not know what she was doing. Someone told me when the pup-dog jumps up, grab his paws and give a slight pinch between toes while saying no. He stopped jumping in a week or so. He would pretend to jump but never touch anyone. Worked like a charm
