SV will now accept a copy of the pedigree and so will AKC. Never put originals in the mail unless it is absolutely insisted upon for some reason and then take all precautions such as certified mail etc.

Just ask Sabine to process and send you the bescheinigung, you must have it to send to akc, they will take a copy, I do not mail any originals, also send a copy of the pink papers and don't forget the photographs too.

It was scary sending the originals but they were sent and returned fine. This was done around the first of the year according to the 'new' process. Has anyone been able to get a bescheinigung recently sending a copy?

Hello Dog1 I just recently sent a notarized copy of my dog's pedigree and it went fine...except that now the problem is with the German Postal service so I have not received the Bescheinigung but Sabine just emailed me a copy. I suppose I cant send that to the AKC????? I am still witing to hear from Sabine as to what is going on with my original......
