Please preay for my pups and mom. 3 of the 10 pups were bitten by a copperhead this morning and so was mom. Rushed them to the vet and mom is doing fine even though her face is still swollen. We just lost the male puppy and 2 females are fighting for their life.
This is mom right after she got bit.
These are the 3 pups. We just lost the little male (pictured on the bottom) The 2 girls are still fighting.

We're here in NC, if there's ANYTHING we can do, please let us know!!!!!!!!!! Lots of prayers for mom and little ones!!!!

Thank you so much. I am heartbroken. I wish I could have acted quicker but I saw the snake when it was too late.

Please don't fret over what could have been done if you acted sooner. Be grateful you did not end up a victim yourself. What's done is done. It sucks, I know but you did what you could and now it's up to the dogs to rally. Sadly, you may lose the other pups as well. They are too small to put up much resistance. Poor babies but I will pray for everyone's recovery and keep my fingers crossed that they make it.

Aw, that's just horrible. So very sorry, I hope the little guys have a complete recovery. GD snakes, I hate them. We have cottonmouths here, one killed a small dog a few months ago.

Brenda (mom) still has some swelling but looking much better. The little male actually had 2 bite marks. It is just heartbreaking to watch the little ones. I am thankful for my vet which did everything he could. I will give an update on the girls later.

We have copperheads, rattlers and water moccosins here and I'm terrified.....
