BE4U   I found your posts fascinating, most books dont delve as deep for the sake of the lay person(me) Dr Malcolm Willis wrote a few books which i have read and understand, maybe not the long words automatically, but if i repeat them over and over they go in,anyhow i suppose i am trying to say how about you starting  a genetics program.
With my dog's, natural diet for canines is where i start. At present i am documenting everything i test for vaccinate for, feed, produce and so on,i take it that your animals are all DNA or
otherwise checkable to be on a world wide database.I fear it may be a long time before we have the same for dogs, although times they are a changin, most folk have microchipped animals.

This thread has gone in many different directions and it is interesting to look back at the original post. Why try to list 10 breeders or even 3 from the data base? The person who started the thread must want information on getting a puppy [ why else ask the question? to start trouble? to get some one to say ''billy bob'' breeds the best GSD  so that  he/she can  get free advertisements?] To the orginal poster, Get involved with as many breeders who train their own dogs as possible. A good breeder is '' net-worked'' into the population of good dogs and fellow breeders. A good breeder can give a recommendation of a good litter for you to investigate. The good breeder might know of an exceptional litter not owned by a breeder but by a GSD enthusist who just happened to train a GSD to the lofty position of KKL and made a litter with another KKL dog. Get involved, it  is the first part of your  mission. You do not need to know how to build a pick up truck to drive one and enjoy its function. The best breeders are heavily involved with other breeders thru trials, shows, and clubs. No breeder is an island.

STUDENT
You just proved my case thank you.

I have found from the evidence of this site that i can put ten Breeders or trainers or experts of the GSD in a thread and there isn't any continuity none.

MOST OF THE FEED BACK ENDS UP JUST BEING NASHING OF TEETH.

THANKS AGAIN GSD STUDENT FOR PROVING MY CASE.

TOP BREEDERS PLEASE COMMENT AND ONLY THE UPPER CRUST OF THE GSD WORLD PLEASE THANK YOU.

The good ones don't need this place for advertisement. They are well known in the working dog world. Some breed more often than others. One thing for sure... The good ones don't get caught up in anything on the pedigree drama base.

Well i am sure they won't let the truth get in the way of the facts.

I really was just looking for a little continuity between anyone here, and i can't find it. Can you show me where on these threads that i can find a few people that can have some continuity between them for longer than five minutes. I thought it would be easy.

It's just like talking to a computer NHI.

"The good ones don't get caught up on anything on the ped drama base.".
"...like walking into a prison and asking who is the 10 most respected and moral..."
The same can be said for some people who buy puppies.

jbasler,   please do not prove my point. I have seen this be an excellant forum for information and education. I also peek in here, the way I drive by a car accident, to see if anyone is bleeding!  keep the conversation flowing in a healthy direction. Can you imagine a first time GSD owner's benefit from well intentioned sport and hobbist sharing insight ? Can you imagine every time you get into your car witnessing a bloody acident? I would not leave the house.

Joanro.... You don't see people coming on here bashing the likes of hanrahan, trainor, miller and many others... Birds of a feather flock together and that goes for the breeder and the buyer.
