Form follows function.

good post blitzen. I know a lot of folks like to boo hoo conformation talk, but I thought this pic of a grey wolf showing excellent extension at both ends as well as under reach was interesting.

by Blitzen on 11 March 2013 - 13:03

The more I think about it, I don't actually know if form follows function or function follows form. Does this wolf have an efficient gait because he's a good hunter  or is he a good hunter because he has an efficent gait? Which first ......chicken or egg?

by Gustav on 11 March 2013 - 19:03

Without function the wolf doesn't eat regardless of the form.
