why do showline people insist on making a working breed a show dog??

why not find another breed that is not working dog and show them???

Agree, Blitzen. But, it sounds like because of "the system" he and others like him can no longer find a dog of suitable capability; that saddens me.

Just ( being very tired, irritable, bored, and probably a bit stupid) thought I might be able to "help."

He sounds like a top notch trainer who has been disenfranchised from meeting his goals.

Oh, I'm sure he does. He has great passion on the subject and is no doubt very interested.

Probably a long time competitor and/or breeder who is understandably frustrated.

By learning more about him I can better grasp his needs.
