Eddy....Blackthorn - the dog you showed is a Frei Gugge grandson out of a Marko Cellerland full sister!
I´d be willing to give my last dime for a good dog out of this ancestors today...( 40 years too late ...)

Hey Blackthorn, Susie beat me to it. That dog is out of a Marko daughter and Freight Von der Guggenheim son....Wow my first imported dog in mid seventies was out of Jack vom Furstenburg (Marko son) and Meik vd Peltzerferm daughter. Got her from VDH judge Otto Mueller. That is my kinda dog that you posted....I don't look at parts I look at overall dog and my senses tell he is super!

Very powerful looking dog, though I'd like to see the pasterns a bit shorter!

I meant a Marko sister....sorry.....still this is the type of dog we got away from and they usually possessed all the traits the breed was trying to maintain....SMH what a nice looking dog!

Kim thanks for posting that info. I am a WL/sable lover but not that one. She's just a typical GSD from those lines. Other than that, very ugly.
Marko Cellarland--I had a granddaughter and I loved her. I thought Marko was a cool handsome dog. Good post Gustav "and this is what we got away from" powerful statement looking at it from that perspective...............

zw numbers don't mean anything, howmany young dogs are pre X-rayd and put to sleep if results aren't good? i know of at least 8 from the same BSZ winner out of 5 liters the rest wasn't even x-rayed because they weren't show quallity
sorry but ZW numbers are at best an alarmbel that you have to do some extra research if they are extremly high or extremly low for the rest ?????????????????????????????
