Eukahn vom Patiala will be 12 in August. He is still running and jumping like a young buck. He has never had any health problems and he still enjoys being given a bite every now and again. Looking forward to having some little Eukahns running around this summer. Love this boy.

What an awesome idea......thanks for starting this thread.

I'm not sure if this girl had any health issues (I don't think so) but she was a very accomplished working bitch and lived to 13.5 years.

Quantitative is far easier and the place to start. When you get into breeding decisions, I think qualitative becomes of utmost importance.

There are owners of European dogs who belong to the GSDCA with dogs that qualify for the 13 year club. Some of the names would be familiar to those with German dogs. I don't think I have any back ussues, but I could copy the qualifying dogs from the next issue if anyone is interested. The names of the sires and dams are included. I can also ask if they archived the past 13 year club members.

I was wondering about the 13 club, I have heard of it but didn't know who did it. I think this is a wonderful Idea!

The Tinman vom Alk is 12 yrs old... I spoke to his breeder not that long ago :) He looks great for his age!
