Thanks everyone that has contributed thus far! I've started on a website for this info...it's not online yet and it's not going to be too fancy. Just names, age (if exact age known), and possibly a pedigree link.

Nilson Wildsteigerland (Grandson of 2xVA Rikkor von Bad Boll) 13 1/2 years old and still thinks he is Stud Dog (in mind only), he still digs holes, just takes him a little longer. he has been excellent Stud dog in Australia,Our beautiful boy Burshune Rikkor his son lived until 10 years - and his daughter Burshune Gina will soon be mated.

Just a little update (and to bump this back up for a bit) : still working on the site, apparently weebly doesn't like me messing with their CSS ;-) I've put all of the names so far in a spreadsheet.

Jenni totally agree with you, german shepherd dogs (and so are many other breeds)  today are walking chemical plants, we certainly keep the vets in business,
my partner owned a german shepherd names Bandit - he live until he was 18 years old, and was still trying to mate at 17 years, I have pictures of him, this dog was very rarely medicated, chased foxes (he dig succumb to mange - but was treated and cured).  He died simply from a worn out heart,
He had several litters, and lived a healthy life just a little bit slow towards the end.

IIRC, Fero lived to well over 12.
Kathy Moacanin's Rhena v Haus Antverpa lived to be 16: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=400032-rhena-von-haus-antverpa
My Am-bred Sch3 dog lived to 13 years and 9 months: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=1855498-blackthorns-bright-heart

And my old girl is still getting around--she'll be 15 in July - Nike (Ike vom Del U Haus, Sch2, KK2): http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=512075-ike-vom-del-u-haus

I've owned a number of GSDs who lived to be 11 or 12--but Nike is my first one to make it past 14.
