LOVE THY SHEPHERD

Mailo is a beast.  SCHH3 currently training for national competition.  He has matured into a big strong boy with superb muscle.  His bites are hard and his obedience is outstanding.  Truly a pleasure to watch Mailo work.

Thanks, that's good to hear.  I bred my bitch to Russ's  male, Jeron (call name Rony)  she did  not get pregnant.
Found out he's an older male and sperm count just wasn't there.  But Parrish is letting me do a re breeding to
Mailo, she will be bred to him in October.   I am really looking forward to this litter, will probably be holding back
1-2  pups.

HANNA VOM DACH HAUS  X  MAILO

He just sired a litter of  14     I am keeping my fingers crossed, have not had good
luck thus far getting a litter out of her.  Next time will make sure the male has a good
count.  Nothing wrong with Jeron though, he's a nice dog.  He was Champion  FH1

I saw him while I was there a few weeks ago what a great dog. Great on and off switch big strong dog. Don't know Russ dog though I probably saw him but I don't think you will go wrong with this breeding

Wow, Mailo sounds like a nice dog, but I have to admit I am more than a little
dissapointed that Parrish would allow a nice titled (or untitled) male of his to cover
a bitch that doesn't appear to have been OFA'd?  Especially coming from a sire that
was evidently never OFA'd either. Thumbs DownWhat Smile

Sorry to hear you didn't get pups by Rony, He is a really nice working male. I have a daughter of his 2 1/2 yrs old, her litter there were 13 pups born. Maybe he needs to be used a bit more, with some age that may have something to do with his lower count, but even a lower count should have gotten her PG in the cooler weather if it was her right time.
Good luck next time around.

Workingdogz  She is scheduled to get her hips/elbows done this month with OFA and DM testing !!
No her sire wasn't done, that doesn't mean he  has bad hips.  thanks  Weezy, yes Rony is a good dog
too bad she didn't conceive.

by workingdogz on 08 July 2013 - 20:07

Wow, you have bred her how many times already, and are just maybe now getting around
to xraying her hips and elbows? What Smile

And you are right, just because you haven't done the hips and elbows on her sire,
although you have bred him numerous times and offer him at public stud,
it doesn't mean his hips are bad, doesn't mean they are good either. That is
why people OFA or A Stamp, to make sure the joints are good before breedingShades Smile

I only bred her to Rony, nobody else.  I am trying to do the right thing and get all of my
dogs  OFA'd.  So don't criticize me, it will get done.  My male has only been bred to my
females.  I did have him advertised before at stud, but since he's not OFA'd yet, I stopped
advertising him.  I have to look thru the ads I've already placed and cancel them.  I don't
really take things other people say as bad, I do realize that your just wanting the best for
the breed.  I new at all these tests and do care about the welfare of my dogs.  It just takes
some time to get all this done.  My bitch that will be bred in Oct. will have all the necessary
tests done prior to her getting bred.  Thanks
