from China.......
I just don't want to hear any more about breeders breeding for massive bone and big heads...........IMO..its not what a GSD breed is....
Unfortunately, this breeder is getting plenty of positive feedback and most likely selling all the puppies he can produce....sad.

For those without Facebook, here's a couple of photo............

Sick  That doesn't even LOOK like a GSD to me!  Not the head, anyway!

No surprise to me. Have you really looked at some of the photos of the German Va dogs that are touted as correct and masculine. I saw it coming. These dogs will never be able to do anything that requires endurance, but they sure look like males, don't they?

Looks like the dog was cross with another larger Mastiff type of breed, Tibetian Mastiffs are very popular & valued in China. So maybe they were mixed with some GSD's.

My God, that's awfull!  GSD is a versatile breed, therefore, it must be FAST, AGILE and STRONG and FIRM.
I've been training my GSD in French Ring for a couple of years....a dog like that would certainly have a hard time in this sport....

VERY SAD

Looks like  Mastiff! Ick.

Like begets like. It's what you get by breeding generations of GSD's with short, blocky muzzles, too much stop, hanging flews, and short legs. No doubt in my mind that this is a purebred GSD and a testament to the power of selective breeding. It would be interesting to see his pedigree. I'm betting it contains some very well known German dogs, maybe some of the top winners that ended up in China.

The first dog I ever saw that had such a massive head was for sale on the PDB for a long, long time before eventually being sold to someone in Vietnam. So it would seem this sort of structure is popular in the far East.
