Griffin shepherd kennels - what do you know? - Page 1

Anyone heard anything of this breeder/trainer?

I emailed him and asked for info on his pedigrees and health tests. He refused to give me any info and wanted me to pay for a flight to show me his dogs were healthy. Scary and shows his dogs are not what they claim to be. Plus, I can't find any of his dogs in the OFA database even though he claims they are OFA rated hips/elbows and DM clear.

Not to mention on the contact page of his website.... he spells Shepherd as SHEPARD

I also understand that he produced at least one pup with severe atrial stenosis and a grade 5 heart murmur but is continuing to breed the same dog that carries it.

He's posted several videos of is dogs fighting...... just to show he knows how to break it up..... which he does not. 

I guess he charges between $1500 and $1800 for his pups that have never seen a vet, haven't had vaccines, and haven't been dewormed with very questionable pedigrees.

I'm not sure how good of a breeder he is but he has posted pictures of his puppies at the vet getting shots. As far as the dog fight video he posted, I would not have let it happen like that either but there was not any biting involved. I have never seen any of his dogs pedigrees.

NA7, he does not give any shots and says that straight up. He believes in "natural immunity" building and his dogs only get the required rabies vaccine. I have also personally spoken to people that purchased from him which is how I know. ;) The packet he gives with the vet info has a phone number that does not exist. That's also how he got away with selling pups with SAS and grade 5 murmurs that were diagnosed at their first visits with the vet after purchase.

NA7; it's not just one video. I've seen 3 now.
