But only if he recoups his investment.

To all involved

I truly am sorry for all the problems you are experiencing right now. The problem is that this is a totally open forum.  When a person posts allegations about another individual on an open forum.  Others who visit these types of forums see these types of allegations on a regular basis.  Sometimes these allegations are easy to substantiate and other times it is a total fabrication meant to try to destroy a person's reputation.  Some of the people on the forum or friends of theirs have been victims of these attacks.  So their natural inclination is to demand proof, Just as a court of law would demand proof of any allegations made.  For a person to say these things without proof could amount to Slander.

I understand the need and desire to contact others who may have had a similar experience and to talk about it.  I also understand the need to not talk about evidence that a Lawyer may not want disclosed until it is presented before a judge.  But when a person continues to make accusations on an open forum even though they may have evidence but not willing to present any.  They could then be judged harshly in the court of public opinion.

There is nothing wrong with trying to get in contact with others who have a similar experience dealing with a particular breeder.  But caution and discretion need to be used in what a person says on an open forum.  I would suggest making contact on the forum then taking it to private messages to confirm, then either continue on P.M. or to the phone.  Otherwise a person can actually harm their own case.  Think how a judge might view these conversations.  Even if a person is totally justified a judge still won't view these as being helpful to your case.  Now after a verdict is made,  A person would be able to make full disclosure regardless of how it was ruled.

Everyone please think about how what you are saying could be viewed by others.  Everything said here can form permanent opinions of how you are viewed by others.

only if he recoups his investment?? it is a little hard to recoup an investment that you cannot get papers on- he only wants his papers like promised so he can do what he needs to do- he has been feeding and caring for a dog for almost 8 months or longer with the promise of papers- his wife- not alicia and not david- sent the corrected form back to david to get it sent it so they could get papers- papers were expedited to david two weeks ago-there is no reason the papers cannot be sent or phone calls answered over all of this. The man has dealt with enough and just wants to be able to do what he needs to-and that is just him- she is keeping other papers and also has somebody else's dogs that she has in her care or have been sold- who knows which- but all anybody wanted is what was theirs and what was promised she has the money for the pups there is no reason not to fullfill her obligation and send the papers.  These dogs that were bred do not even belong to her they belong to somebody else- so why is she even breeding them and how does a person who imports all kinds of dogs and breeds dozens of litters sign papers in the wrong place or put the wrong sire down or wait a year or more to register them - because she did not tell the owner the dogs had been bred- and bred more than once and she is still breeding- sounds to me like she did all this on purpose to play games and sorry this man does not need to play her games he just wants his papers so he can move on with what he has to do and if that is wrong than what do you call what she has done and is doing

if anybody is reading this thread to learn more about our great breed, please note; 1] it is not very difficult to get papers on a pure bred GSD .  2] buyer beware and do your research on the seller!

It is his right to recoup his investment and it is better for the dog to have papers.

by beetree on 20 July 2014 - 17:07

And it is my right to not give a hoot what he does. He appoint you as his mouthpiece? Your yammering on without proof of squat is offensive to me.

Better for the dog? Prove it. That statement is laughable.

Abby Normal

I've been following this ... of course, and sounds like a lot of people had a rough deal.

When it all starts to go really sour for me is when the death of a wife is introduced, and we then discover that it's important to get the papers because the guy wants to 'recoup his investment' ie, sell the dog. Was this dog not a loved pet? Papers or not? Clearly not....maybe a big error was made in who the dog was sold to  in the first place.

I'm sorry his wife died, I'm sorrier for the dog that he doesn't care enough about it after 8 months to want to keep it and love it, and maybe think that's what his wife would have wanted. I would give my right arm to have my dogs back, just for a little while and all that's been said about this dog is he has been feeding it for 8 months and now wants rid. Sorry, sympathy disappeared. That's all.

Beetree, Than don't worry about it and move and I am pretty sure he could careless what your opinion is. . Abby Normal, the dogs were part of his wife's kennel and she was a small breeder. He is not going to carry on the breeding program without her.

by beetree on 20 July 2014 - 19:07

Now why would I worry? I am not going any where. Why don't you post the court case number or go away instead?

You must be getting a commission from the bereaved for your efforts on his behalf.

Seeing as how I am the OP here I want to let everyone know that Alicia and I have come to an agreement on my situation.  I know many of you may still have problems with her but i am happy to say that after a long discussion we have ended any problems we may have had.  Personally I do not have any desire to discuss this further.
