More About Alicia Jordan - Page 2

As all of you can see I posted about a problem with Alicia Jordan a long time ago.  Well I got trashed because who was I to insult a big named breeder.  Guess what folks that puppy who I was so impatient waiting for papers still is not registered.  I had returned her to Alicia for a full refund but guess what she sold her and I have never seem a dime.  Not on single penny despite all the fancy words that were posted on this site.

I purchased an AKC reg showline GSD from Patricia Jordan at Von Jordan Haus last June.  She guaranteed the hips and when this bitch failed OFA last fall she replaced her a working line puppy that her daughter Alicia had bred.  Now when I picked the puppy up there were no shot records even though she was old enough to be fully vaccinated, including rabies I figured I would redo the bare minimum.  Also her paperwork from AKC was not available,  was told that Mom was imported during her pregnancy and all the paperwork was not yet done  I would be getting it.  Well forward until the end of May the following year and you got it -still no papers.  The dam is still not registered with AKC ad I keep getting one excuse after another.  The last one was that Alicia was waiting for proof of the sires permanent KKL1.  She does not need that the register Mom or the litter.  I now have a very expensive and well bred pet who will probably be spayed and placed.  This is just a warning to others as Alicia is advertising puppies out of the same bitch on PDB now.   

That's how she does business. No conscious for anyone or anything except her wallet. I found out TODAY another dog she showed us on 2/5/2014 that was $7,000 and registered does NOT have papers either. It seems like none of them do!

Not only is my scam is not only  limited to Alicia ... But Jason Hanley was envoled in my purchase also known as MIDWAY K9 Academy

   These pictures were taken less than 24 hours after I picked Zella up from Jason and she didnt even have a collar.. $5500 GOT ME A MANGLED female..

I have typed a response and deleted it many times.  This situation just makes me angry for the people and angry and sad for the poor dogs caught up in it. This is a terrible, LONG story. I really really hope those missing dogs ended up in good places. They were failed on so many levels.

jenni, we all here have asked the same question many times, ie, some variation of;

 

how did you get into this mess in the first place, didn't you do your homework, it is obvious there are glaring problems...yadayada.

 

it is a cruel thing to bring up, the answers are perplexing and confounding to those not in the situation, we know here that even very experienced folks can fall prey to the same thing as someone on their first dog purchase, experience does not seem to count for a lot in these cases.

 

no matter how many of these stories come up we all like to think they are the last and the bad guys won't get away with it anymore, we are wrong, the rate of these threads seem pretty constant and these are just the ones that make it to the pdb, most people think they are alone and don't know where, who or how to complain.

jenni there is no ryhme or reason, experience doesn't seem to matter. the only fact we have that this shit will never end.

A lesson learned by all I guess. I talked to Alicia for a few months before we purchased a dog from her. I thought we were friends to be honest. They were not low price dogs either. One pup was $2,000, one male $5,000 and another $4,500. Each one had a reason why the papers were going to be mailed. We even drove out to TN, which is a 12 hr ride to p/u the one. PD for him loaded him up in the car and asked for his papers and than got the story they had to be mailed becasue of DNA needing to be on file because she bred him earlier that day (what?), etc, etc. It was 10 pm at night in a parking lot becasue she wouldn't let us go to her site..RED FLAG! However, you are right, we should have verified titles and certifications, etc before hand and we just went on her word. We did check with the BBB, googled her name and business, got a few references from her and even searched her on here before we ever purchased a dog from her. Nothing negative came up. As a matter of fact, I searched her two nights ago and only one positive post showed up so I don't know why or how that worked out. I guess it just never entered our mind anyone could be so devious. We did get some bad vibes and red flags and totally ignored them. I could write a book. Our plight still is not over. As a matter of fact, I am waiting on a notarized and certified document from her, deadline today. She gave me the tracking information, I looked it up, not a tracking #. Reached out to her again, asking for the correct #, no response. We do know now how to research probably every nook and cranny. I to hope the dogs go to/went to good homes. So I don't really have a reason why were all taken advantage of other than to trusting and foolish...

I did ask Alicia what happend to her thin, mauled up, just POOR looking.. She blamed Jason .. She stated Zella was at Jason's kennel..
